Amazing hat by designer Evelyn Varon, probably 1940s or so. SIZE 21 inches. Made of very finely woven black hat straw with a horizontal line texture. Tall crown with wide grosgrain ribbon with round silvertone metal studs around the top. Bow at back. Covered wire around outside edge. Fabric tag inside reads Evelyn Varon. In overall good condition - could use a bit of reshaping. ***Photos taken with and without flash***
