SALE Vintage 1940s Dress Black Rayon Crepe Sequin Dress Film Noir Rockabilly Swing Jive S chest 37 in.

Beautiful 1940s evening / dancing dress. SIZE S, chest to 37 inches. Made of drapey black rayon crepe fabric. Squiggly pattern in black sequins on front bodice. Slightly swingy skirt. Metal zipper on side. Unlined. Small fabric tag inside reads 'New York Creation, NY Dress Institute, Made Under Standards of ILGWU.' This organization started putting these labels in dresses in 1941. In wearable condition - one area of missing sequins on bottom left side of bodice and light hanger fade across shoulders (see last photos). ***Photos taken with and without flash***
