Unique shiny straw purse / handbag, made in Japan. Probably early 1960s. Body made of very light colored vertically woven straw, covered with clear vinyl. Top frame and double round handles made of heavier straw or rattan. Large round woven straw button and loop clasp. Inside lined with beige cotton blend burlapy pattern fabric, one side pocket.
Small fabric tag inside reads 'Made in Japan.' In good pre-owned vintage condition - no holes in vinyl, a few marks and light scuffing here and there. ***Photos taken with and without flash***
